On the 26th of September 2009 “iKnow” was awarded as “Technical Innovation of the Year” by BPeSA.
iKnow is the name used in Standard Bank for the hosted eKnowledge solution “Allos UNIFIED“.
The prize has been received by Morné Serfontein (Head of Operational Support Services at Standard Bank Customer Contact Centre) during the BPeSA awards night (see photograph).

The key question, says Morné Serfontein, is “how do you train 1,000 variations on a process to an individual, how do you train 250+ products to an individual? It is impossible. What we’ve done with the solution is; we brought the information together in a structured manner that makes sense to the individual and you teach them where to go and find the correct information instead of trying to force-feed them with lots and lots of information.
